Choose Purple Cat Vet
There are NO INCOME requirements to use our services. WE DO NOT REQUIRE EAR TIPPING. The only requirement we have is that FRIENDLY cats, no matter if outdoor barn cats or inside pet cats, are fully vaccinated for distemper prior to coming in for surgery. More vaccine details below and on the FAQ page.
We are experts at working with feral cats.
TO SCHEDULE A FERAL CAT: Follow the prompts to schedule a spay or neuter surgery. (Choose spay if the sex is not known.) On STEP 5 of scheduling “Confirm Appointment”, choose the PACKAGE titled FARM/FERAL/COLONY (MANDATORY EAR TIP). They will receive sterilization surgery, ear tip of the left ear, Rabies vaccine, and Distemper vaccine as part of the package.
Start trapping several days before the appointment and bring them to us in the live trap. We do not require the FVRCP (distemper) vaccines on truly feral cats (afraid of humans and will not allow contact).

No we do not. We offer only spays, neuters, and vaccines allowing us to specialize and keep costs down for you without sacrificing quality of care!

MUST BE at least 5-6 MONTHS AGE AND UP-TO-DATE ON THEIR FELINE DISTEMPER (FVRCP/3-WAY) VACCINE TO SCHEDULE SURGERY. See our FAQ page for requirements. Feral cats (afraid of humans) that cannot be handled are excluded from this requirement. Failure to bring your cat vaccinated may result in CANCELED SURGERY AND LOSS OF DEPOSIT.
